In addition to playing soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophone with the Sacramento Symphonic Winds, Tom is the Executive Director and plays in the saxophone section of the Folsom Lake Symphony Orchestra. Tom also plays with The Capitol Pops Concert Band, Buddy Harphams’ Big Band, the Sacramento Saxophonics (sax quartet) and the International Saxophone Quartet.

Previously in Michigan, Tom originated and played with the Lake Effect Jazz Big Band, as well as playing with the Southshore Concert Band, Moonlighters Big Band, pit orchestras and a saxophone quartet (Sax Revue).

In 2000 Tom toured five European countries as an invited member of the Blue Lake International Concert Band.

To date he has played in five concert bands, two symphony orchestra, 6 big bands, 3 jazz combos, 4 saxophone quartets and two pit orchestras.

He is also an arranger for concert bands and saxophone quartets.
