The "Sacramento Symphonic Winds" is an all volunteer 60-piece wind
ensemble. The organization consists of accomplished musicians from
the Sacramento, Woodland, Davis and Sierra Nevada Foothill area who have
various backgrounds in the musical arts. Many members of the
ensemble are professional musicians and/or music educators. Other
members are from different professions such as Medical Doctors,
Attorneys, Engineers, Financial Advisors, Salespersons, Music Students,
Domestic Engineers, and Retirees to name a few. No matter the job,
all share the common love of creating fine ensemble music to the delight
of their audiences and themselves.
